What an honour that the new podcast series of Product Passport Pioneers invited Dr. Torsten Freund from Global Battery Alliance, one of the Associate Partners of the Battery Pass project.
The Spherity podcast season focuses on interviews of people who have influenced the legislation of the digital product passport or demonstrate impact on its success. Dr. Torsten Freund, Head of Project Management “Battery Passport” at Global Battery Alliance (GBA) and who leads the GBA program to develop first prototypes of the GBA Battery Passport for Vehicle Batteries, explains the challenges of building a digital product passport and its importance for reaching the circular economy for batteries. You can also learn about more about GBA, a public-private collaboration platform, founded in 2017 at the World Economic Forum to help establish a sustainable battery value chain by 2030.
