The “Battery Pass” Consortium will conduct a members-only consultation webinar on “Battery Passport Content Guidance” taking place on Tuesday, 18th October 2022.
We will present the project’s preliminary results (version 0.9) of battery passport content standards guidelines that we are developing to aid the regulators and companies to implement Battery Passports in the context of the upcoming EU Battery Regulation and beyond.
Topics presented will include the overall regulatory framework and battery passport concept as well as deep dives into the various content clusters such as carbon footprinting and sustainability performance, circularity, durability and safety requirements, and responsible supply chain.
The consultation webinar will kick-off the first feedback process of the Consortium with our membership group, which will last until CW45/2022. This Consultation Webinar is key for all those who want and need to stay in the overall consultation process.
