We believe that the battery passport can deliver significant value for different stakeholders in the ecosystem. To assess this value, the Battery Pass Consortium has dedicated an entire workstream to evaluating the potential benefits of the battery passport for industry, policy and the private sector. This involves identifying use cases for different stakeholder groups, providing a detailed qualitative description of the use cases, including their related economic, social, and environmental impacts, and conducting a quantitative benefit assessment of select prioritised use cases.
The objective of the upcoming consultation is to validate the initial use case longlist developed by the Battery Pass Consortium. Based on your valuable feedback, we would like to:
a) ensure that our use case methodology is easily understandable,
b) identify any potential gaps in our approach, and
c) reassess and validate the relevance and impact of individual use cases.
