Battery Passport Data Attribute List v1.3

The Data Attribute Longlist v1.3 includes data attributes required (and suggested) for the EU battery passport alongside definitions and further relevant data dimensions. It builds on DIN DKE SPEC 99100 and the previous v1.2 release from January 2025 and reflects the latest developments in the EU Battery Passport and the broader Digital Product Passport framework, incorporating recent JTC 24 draft developments (Q3 2025) as well as current implementing and delegated acts under the EU Battery Regulation.

The Longlist serves as a practical foundation to support organizations in the technical demonstration and implementation of the Battery Passport within their own operations. As key regulatory and standardisation processes are still ongoing, some aspects will require further clarification in future updates. The next revision is planned following the publication of the final JTC 24 standards, currently expected by Q2 2026.

Building on a Strong Foundation

The completed Battery Pass project laid the foundation for BatteryPass-Ready. We continue to build upon its core resources – including the Content Guidance, Technical Guidance, and Value Assessment – while aligning our ongoing work with the technical framework defined by JTC 24.
